Welcome back investors!!

The real estate market offers a lot of great opportunities: generally, I observe that, after the 2006 peak, prices are back to their level of 2004. For instance, we just made an offer for a house in Lakewood at $390,000...which was exactly the price paid in June 2004.

Short sales and REO (or REPO) are leading prices down, probably for the next months. But, for savvy investors, opportunities are rare and disappear quickly!

And now, investors from abroad are...coming, looking and buying. Indeed, they could afford one bedroom condo at 2 or 3 blocks from the beach for less than $200,000 (which means "just" €130,000!!!). I was speaking with a French colleague from Cannes, this morning: he has no condo for less than €300,000 ($480,000).

Long Beach is a great deal for investors!! Don't hesitate to ask me: I have a lot of French and European connections.
